Grocery Cash back apps
With grocery prices increasing, we are all looking for a way to reduce our grocery bills by making a shopping list, buying sale items, and couponing. One way to save on these purchases is to use grocery cash back apps.
The first app to download to help you earn cash back on grocery trips is Fetch. Fetch is a free app that lets you upload your receipts from the grocery store (and other stores like big-box stores and restaurants) to earn cash back. You need to make sure you upload this receipt within 14 days of making your purchase. After you’ve uploaded the receipt, you’ll earn cash back in the app. All receipts you scan will earn you 1% cash back, but you could earn more if you shopped at a featured store. You can withdraw as little as 3,000 points, or $3, save your points for a larger cashout, or use them for gift cards and donations.
Checkout 51 is another free app to help you earn cash back on your groceries (and gas). Once you download the app, you can search through offers and redeem them. Once you redeem an offer and make your purchase, you will need to upload a receipt to be verified. Once it is verified, you will earn your cash back. You can also find additional coupons on the app to help you save even more. Once you have $20 of cash back in the app, you can withdraw this to your PayPal account or request a check.
If you’re buying groceries, get into the habit of saving your receipts and claiming any deals before shopping. This will add up, and you’ll be able to get more money on these daily purchases that you have to make.
